Mitashi MH 3001 NC HEADPHONE

Noise cancellation is hot these days, with battery packs and weird on/off switches being telltale indicators of these bulky devices. Ever since Bose started the movement a while ago, players (big and small) have jumped on the bandwagon, with various products on offer.

Mitashi, a household name these days in the realm of affordable electronics, has come out with a model called the MH 3001 NC. These are active circuit noise cancellation headphones. Now to go on and see whether the underdog can stand up to the more expensive stalwarts or fall flat.

Design and Features

The product is quite light and compact, especially when packed snug in its square cardboard box. The foldable design means you can use it for cueing like a DJ, but the performance will dictate the extent of that possibility. The body is black all over, and thick plastic is the material of choice for the headband and driver cases. The top half of the pad has a semicircular glossy surface that bears the Mitashi logo.

The rims are padded with a soft coated cushion, while the exposed driver is protected by a thin sponge layer. Ergonomically it the device is very good, and does not cause any strain on the ears. The left ear contains a slot for 2 AAA batteries, while the right case houses the circuit; the power switch, and input for the EP cord on the bottom curve. The wires included are an RCA-EP and an EP-EP connector, but strangely no batteries are included.

Performance

The model is designed so that it works only in active mode, like the Bose, so you need to have batteries all time. After switching the product on, people encounter a short burst of low frequency feedback on the right, probably by the circuit situated there. It was not damaging, but the slight noise encountered in the absence of music is a drawback.

This gets masked when tracks are played, just like all other amps and their associated hums, though soft passages might get affected by this. Considering the price of the product, people should not be too discerning about the performance – and with this caveat in mind, the performance was good. The bass and mids were in control and sibilance levels too were fine.

Noise cancellation wasn't present but it made the background sound leak through a bit, that too in a weird sounding, out-of-phase form. The headphones can handle good amounts of volume without distortion, and again it’s the music playback capability that impressed us, and not the noise cancellation.

Conclusion
At Rs 1095, this could be the cheapest noise cancellation unit around, so it now boils down to whether you want to spend so little! The noise cancellation is not effective and a few negative issues crop up in the performance, but the sound itself is not bad at all. If you're on a shoestring budget, you might as well give it a try.

AIGO iSonic MP3 Glasses

Firstly it was the AIGO A020 MP3 watch and now it is the AIGO iSonic MP3 glasses which has caught my attention.
Although this isn’t the first of its kind to come into being, it still finds itself in a rather niche spot. For most of the part, products like this don’t have the versatility and flamboyance to meet everyone’s fashion sense. For another, there’s a long way to go before such products are perfected to strike a harmonious balance between utility and comfort.

The pair in question here come in a light brown tint firmly placed in what feels like nylon fiber frame. You can flip the lenses and according to promotional material there's mention of a certain number of changeable lenses.

Now to talk about what you would really be buying this for — the music. It’s surprisingly good. Surprising because they really didn’t pay too much attention to the ergonomics, but have provided a good warm sound. I like the fact that it’s pretty loud for outdoor listening, since I don’t see why anyone should wear this indoors at all. You can always flip the lens when you listen to music at night. This will make you look quite silly though.

You cannot replace the earphones, but the existing ones (that when left dangling looks like sidelocks) are good. The bass is quite effective and there's not a lot of treble response.

It comes with precious few buttons, because you have to use them while the glasses are on. Each button has a dual function, and these are easy to remember. The glasses are availlable in 512MB and 1GB capacity.

Not everyone will be able to carry off these glasses well.only a few will and the rest will look like nincompoops. That's the problem with such accessories; you can choose them only if they suit you. For biking purposes, I think they will work just fine though.

The aigo iSonic MP3 sunglasses cost Rs 6,000. This is quite steep, considering they are rather uncomfortable and can give you a headache in a few minutes. If you are an outdoorsy kind of a guy it makes some sense, otherwise imagine sitting at your desk in office wearing these!

    AIGO A020 mp3 watch

Want to carry mp3 on your hands???

As a major part of us are looking forward to gadgets that are smaller and cheaper.....the thing that the TECH companies are relying on most is Fusion...
So what kind of Fusion are we looking at here?

Yes you are probably correct.....it is the fusion of gizmos......This is indeed very upmarket because we don't need 2 carry many gizmos with us.........The brightest example being our Cell Phone.....At least I think I don't need to talk about the number of features we gwt on our cell phones these days!!!

Now lets start discussing on the main topic......I hadn't really heard about this company AIGO....but boy it has made one good product. What is it?

Its the AIGO A020 MP3 watch.....and I must tell u that its really Fascinating......

It does not really look like a Rolex or a Omega but it is unique in its own kind......It is designed by Citizen and it has that macho rugged look to it.To my knowledge its not Water resistant..but the glass is more or less scratch proof...

Here's what the watch looks from the side.....
Here you will find the music dedicated keys....

And guess what theres also an USB data cable that fits into the strap......now you can imagine yourself to be James Bond.
Aigo has improvised one more thing very well...
    Whats that???

It has allotted several functions to a single key.
Like the power key acts as the Play/Pause button also.
And guess what it has a voice recorder too.....
What more can you ask for???

One more thing there are also Light indicators on the dial to indicate what function you are performing.
It has a bettery life of about 4.5 hours....
which is quite good.....not impressive but good.

And more thing this comes at a cheap rate too.......
You dont have to shell in a huge amount........It comes for Rs. 4150 for a 512 mb model........

BLU RAY - "The father of all Discs"

Blu Ray.....This aint the name of any underwater fish or any sci-fi flick........

This is the greatest invention as far as Storage Discs are concerned.......

The name Blu-ray Disc is derived from the blue-violet laser used to read and write this type of disc. Because of its shorter wavelength (405 nm), substantially more data can be stored on a Blu-ray Disc than on the DVD format, which uses a red (650 nm) laser. A single layer Blu-ray Disc can store 25 gigabytes (GB), over five times the size of a single layer DVD at 4.7 GB. A dual layer Blu-ray Disc can store 50 GB, almost 6 times the size of a dual layer DVD at 8.5 GB.

Blu-ray Disc is similar to PDD, another optical disc format developed by Sony (which has been available since 2004) but offering higher data transfer speeds. PDD was not intended for home video use and was aimed at business data archiving and backup.

Blu-ray Disc is currently in a "format war" with rival format HD DVD.

The Blu-ray Disc system uses a blue-violet laser operating at a wavelength of 405 nm, similar to the one used for HD DVD, to read and write data hence the name.
Conventional DVDs and CDs use red and infrared lasers at 650 nm and 780 nm respectively.

The difference between CD , DVD and BLU RAY can be vividly understood by the following pictures............

This is the Way which a CD works......

This is the Way which a DVD works......

This is the Way which a BLU RAY works......

Here are a few BLU RAY players......

The alonside picture given is that of the cheapest BLU RAY player availlable............
    The sony Playstation 3....

Here's what the BLU RAY drive looks from the inside..........

So guys, I hope this information was good.............................

If u need any more info u can always search GOOGLE from my blog.........

Introducing to everyone "THE DUAL SIM SMART PHONE"

Hey all u guys out there............There is some great news..........

"The dual sim phone is here"

Initially the dual sim concept was introduced only in the GSM handsets.......
For availling this service, the customer would have to possess a DUAL SIM ADAPTER....

After inserting both the sim cards:-----

the person concerned would have to choose which connection he/she would like to use......both connections could not be used simultaneously........which was a great disadvantage...................
But now the Newer version is out..................

The DUAL SIM phone which can work with two sim cards (one CDMA and one GSM)..........
This particular model is that of a SAMSUNG phone(model no:- W399) which is availlable in collaboration with THE TATA TELECOM SERVICES.

This dual phone not only supports CDMA but also can be used as a GSM phone. Both the connections can be used simultaneously also..................

This phone also boasts of Touchscreen feature,1.3 megapixel camera, handwriting recognition and many more.In other words it can be termed as the complete phone. It has been introduced with a price tag of Rs. 11999.

Spice Mobile also launched dual-mode handsets, the D-88 and the D-80 that supports both GSM as well CDMA based mobile connections.

The innovative feature about the new D-88 phone is that it supports GSM and CDMA active connections at the same time. On the other hand the D-80 supports two GSM active connections. Thus, this phone is suitable for travelers operating in the local area.

“The new phone is targeted to all who have two cell phone numbers and have been looking for a convenience of carrying just one phone, we are targetting mainly the consumers of town and rural areas. By 2010, our target in the market share will surge to 10 per cent,” Kunal Ahooja CEO, Spice Mobile Ltd.

Spice has also announced to launch a “people’s phone” to cost less than Rs 1,000. Spice would start manufacturing these low-cost handsets by 2008.

The D-80 handset will be available in the Indian market at Rs. 9,849/-, while the price of the D-88 has not been announced yet.
