. It seems that Remote Differential Compression is causing this problem.
Remote Differential Compression (RDC) is a client-server synchronization protocol that allows the contents of two files to be synchronized by communicating only the difference between them. The thing you have to do for a better file transfer speed is to disable this feature. Here are the steps to be taken:
1. Press the
Start Button and select the Control Panel.
2. Open the
Programs and Features applet.
3. In the new window select
Turn Windows features on or off located in the left pane.
4. Uncheck
Remote Differential Compression.
After doing this your file transfers will be faster!
