BenQ Unveils the V2400W LCD Monitor

BenQ has unveiled its new 24-inches wide-screen premium LCD monitor, which it claims to be the world's slimmest in the 24-inches category. The LCD monitor in question -- the V2400W, is only 2.44-inches at its thickest point, which is over 21 percent slimmer than the next thinnest LCD monitor. The monitor combines asymmetry and the aerodynamic curves of the B-2 stealth bomber, and features a subtle blue LED and slick-touch controls. Sporting an overall mirror-black finish, this premium LCD has a 4000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, new RHCM injection process, and full 1080p HD support.Manfred Wang, director (Lifestyle Design Center) of BenQ, said, "The V2400W is inspired by the B2 stealth bomber, evoking a sense of mystery, awe, and the elite.
In addition, the display's asymmetry exemplifies our new design philosophy." Positioned as a premium luxury-lifestyle product, the V2400W incorporates HDMI with HDCP, DVI-D, and VGA inputs for future-proof high-definition connectivity as well as compatibility, according to BenQ. The V2400W has five preset modes including Dynamic, Photo, Standard, Movie, and sRGB -- to simplify optimized viewing at the touch of a button. It is NSTL-compliant for superior color precision consistent from monitor to printer to digital camera to any visual device. Moreover, it incorporates BenQ's Advanced Motion Accelerator technology (AMA) for super-fast 2ms GTG response time.
Benq's V2400W premium LCD monitor will be available in China and Asia at the end of March; while in Europe and North America in April. However, there is no information on the pricing yet.Source
