When a computer is used for doing various tasks we generally deal with various kinds of programs, softwares and many other necessary things related to computers and thing to realize is that everything is made up of Files. So files are the building blocks of any kind of program or software or game or any other possible thing in a Computer. Every File has an extension written as 'filename.estension'. This extension is abbreviated to three characters and written after the file name. This File Extension only distinguishes a particular kind of file with another type.
