Transcend's 128 GB 2.5-inch SSD launched

Transcend has announced the release of its all-new 128GB high speed 2.5-inch Solid State Disk (SSD) in India.
Featuring a new controller, Transcend's MLC-equipped 128GB SSD delivers sustained read/write speeds of up to 145MB/92MB per second.

Transcend's 128GB Solid State Disk's integrated ECC (Error Correction Code) ensures reliable data transfer and increases system integrity. Transcend's 2.5" Solid State Disks are available in capacities ranging from 8GB to 128GB in SATA-II and IDE versions, and are all backed by a two-year warranty along with the support of a global service network.

The SSD is priced at Rs. 20,000.

Transcend Launches 2.5" Portable HDD

Transcend has launched two 2.5-inch portable hard drives – StoreJet 25C and StoreJet 25M – in 500GB capacities.

The hard drives come bundled with StoreJet elite software package, which features Website AutoLogin, Mobile Favorites with NoTraceInternet browsing, Secret-Zip 256-bit AES file encryption, Mobile E-mail, Online Update, and intelligent backup scheduling/ security/ file compression functions. The drives are also equipped with a high-speed USB 2.0 interface that's capable of data transfer rates of 480Mbps.The drives will ship with a two-year warranty and cost Rs 13,300.

Transcend Launches T.Sonic 615 MP3 Player

Transcend is in the news once again with the announcement of a new addition to its T.sonic line of MP3 players – the pearl white T.sonic 615. The design, however, is not something radically new to Transcend T.sonic 610 users.

One more Transcend USB flash drive has been introduced -- the 16GB JetFlash V85.
With a sleek zinc-alloy body, the JetFlash V85 measures 49.5mm by 15.8mm by 7.4mm, and can easily slide into small pockets or tightly-stacked USB ports. It stores personal and office documents, music, images, videos, movies, and more.

Transcend unveils 4GB aXeRam DDR2-1066

Transcend has introduced its 4GB aXeRam Extreme Performance DDR2-1066+ dual-channel memory kit designed specifically for overclocking in the Indian market. This kit includes a matching pair of 1066MHz tested and verified 2GB DDR2-1066+ modules, which provide dual-channel memory bandwidth of up to 17GB/s. The 240-pin unbuffered DIMMs included in the kit are each made of 16 high-quality 128Mx8 DDR2 DRAM chips.

This new product also includes support for Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP), which allow users to automatically configure EPP-enabled motherboards with aggressive memory settings for better memory and system performance, especially when using dual video cards. Transcend is gearing up to introduce its new shock-resistant high capacity portable hard drive – the StoreJet 25 mobile – in India. The StoreJet 25 mobile weighs 206g and has dimensions of 134 x 80.8 x 18.8 mm. Inside its rugged shockproof silicone case is a high-capacity hard drive that lets you back up and store up to 250GB of data.
To protect against data loss or damage from accidental falls, the StoreJet 25 mobile meets US military standards (MIL-STD-810F – Transit Drop) with advanced two-stage anti-shock technology. Transcend's latest high-capacity USB flash drive, the 16GB JetFlash V60, is now available in the country.
About the size of an AA battery (61 x 18.6 x 9.8mm), the JetFlash V60 offers 16GB of data storage and is equipped with software tools for easy data transfer. The JetFlash V60 bundles the JetFlash Elite software suite, which can be installed to run directly from the JetFlash drive when plugged in. This software suite includes eight time-saving data management functions such as Web site AutoLogin, PC-lock, mobile favorites, secret-zip encryption, mobile email, DataBackup, online update, and the My JetFlash browser.
